We had the privilege of working with Samantha and the Coastside Birth Options Team to support our family both before and after the birth of both of our children. Through Samantha’s prenatal massage techniques and prenatal yoga, I was able to feel as comfortable as possible during pregnancy and alleviate any common pregnancy symptoms I was experiencing. We also were able to attend Samantha’s prenatal partners workshop, which gave us the tools we needed to both understand the birthing process and feel confident/empowered going into labor/delivery. Samantha was always available to answer any questions we had and worked with us to determine how we envisioned our ideal birth experience going and connect us with a range of other professionals that could help support us through pregnancy and postpartum. Samantha was always a step ahead of us and facilitated connections with birth professionals that we didn’t know we needed. With the Coastside Birth Options team’s knowledge and guidance, we were supported to navigate pregnancy, labor and delivery in a way that led to our desired outcome (a safe and uncomplicated VBAC delivery). During the postpartum periods, Samantha provided invaluable input on how to navigate this new season of our life and support our whole family in the adjustment. Her postnatal massage and yoga sessions have helped tremendously in feeling my absolute best. As a family, we cannot recommend Samantha and the Coastside Birth Options team enough - they are the absolute best professionals and human beings and we will be forever grateful to them for their support!
